What a delightful morning with a visit of a tiny, shimmering hummingbird. I am sitting on my old patio with my back leaned agains my house on a beautiful Saturday early morning. The air is slidly crisp and the sunshine is kissing various places in my backyard. My hot aromatic coffee mug sitting right in front of my face, and my trustworthy camera in my right hand. An abundant set up of lenses sitting proudly in front of me and waiting for their turn. I am ready to capture split seconds of cheer joy in my life with one click of my finger. The beauty of this priceless moments are, that I can revisit my photography images over and over again. It is like traveling back in time with the memories evoken of that moment. I am lucky that I can see, I am lucky that I have this deep passion for my photography. I am lucky that my photography passionately arouses all my senses and my curiosity has no end.

While holding my breath to steady the camera, I waited in absolute silence as patience transformed into pure adrenaline the exact moment the eagle filled my viewfinder. You all can not imagine the thrill of freezing that powerful, wild creature sitting on a post with my lens. My heart was beating out of my chest, my soul was glowing of photography happiness, and that moment completed my day. I felt like a little kid in the candy store. On my way home I could do nothing but talk about my experience to my son Rudi and my dog Odin. I was on a natural high and so alive. What a brilliant photography journey to write home about.
