A quick note regarding movie-going etiquette.
Over the last several weeks, we've received an increasing number of complaints regarding disruptive behavior during films. Most of these complaints have centered around a small group of teenage patrons.
We want to be very clear: everyone is welcome at The Bremen Theatre. We love seeing young people discover movies on the big screen, hang out with friends, and become part of the movie-going community.
However, when the lights go down, there are some basic (common sense) expectations:
📱 Put your phone away.
🤫 Keep conversations to a minimum.
🎬 Be respectful of the movie and the people around you.
🍿 Remember that everyone paid to enjoy the show.
Unfortunately, we've reached a point where the same behavior is generating complaints at nearly every screening. Going forward, if we receive a complaint regarding disruptive behavior, the individuals involved should expect to be removed from the auditorium. In many cases, there will not be multiple warnings.
Parents: If you're dropping your teens off at the movies, or know that they’re walking down, please help us by reinforcing these expectations.
Teens: We genuinely want you here. Come see movies. Bring your friends. Have fun. But be cool. Be respectful. Don't be the reason someone else's night is ruined.
The Bremen Theatre has always been a community space, and we're committed to making sure everyone can enjoy the magic of the big screen together.
Thank you for your understanding.
