🌾🌾🌾 Help Us Fill the Hay Gap 🌾🌾🌾
The drought is taking its toll... and our rescues need your help now more than ever.
Colorado's hot, dry summer (and lack of snow this past winter) has left pastures struggling and hay fields producing far less than normal. As a result, the price of small bales has climbed to $17–18 per bale—a significant increase from what we've budgeted for this year.
At Far View Horse Rescue & Rehabilitation, our horses, ponies, and burros don't get a day off from eating. Every single day, they depend on us to provide the nutritious hay they need to stay healthy, heal from neglect, and thrive while waiting for their forever homes.
We currently feed approximately 8 small bales every day—that's more than 240 bales every month. Even a difference of just a few dollars per bale adds thousands of dollars to our annual hay bill.
We're asking our incredible community to help us bridge that gap.

• $17 provides one bale of hay.
• $51 feeds the rescue for part of a day.
• $136 helps feed everyone for an entire day.
• Any amount makes a meaningful difference.
Every donation—large or small—goes directly toward keeping full bellies, healthy bodies, and hopeful futures for the animals in our care.
If you've ever visited the rescue, volunteered, attended one of our events, adopted an animal, or simply believe every horse deserves a second chance, we ask you to consider sponsoring a bale today.
Your kindness keeps our hay barn full and our hearts hopeful.
Thank you for helping us make up the difference. Together, we can weather this drought—one bale at a time. 💜🐴
