MEET THE CAST: ARI BIRD🚂

This is Ari’s Breckenridge Backstage Theatre debut! Previous credits include: Beyond Therapy(Bruce), Rabbit Hole(Howie), As You Like It(Silvius), Hot Dam! (Lance R. Splishsplash), and Old Jake’s Skirts(Shoestring/Puppeteer). Film credits include: American Wanker(Ricci), This Little Rock(PARATROOPER WORLD). Ari is a Colorado native and a recent graduate of Emerson College; BFA in Acting. Ari is thrilled to be performing in his first professional show and grateful for the opportunity to pursue his passion in the beautiful Rockies. He’d like to thank his family for all the endless love and support they have given him.

MEET THE CAST: AMY GORELOW🚂

Amy is delighted to be back at BBT after Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol. Some other favorite roles include Dr. Goebbels (Hi**er on the Roof), Yenta (Fiddler), Katherine of Aragon (6 Dead Queens), Ranevskaya (Cherry Orchard), and one-sixth of the Jeff award-winning ensemble of Attempts On Her Life. Back in Chicago, Amy is proud to call TUTA her artistic home.

She is an audiobook narrator with over 50 titles, writes, swims, and plays in the musical duo Agrophonia.🎶

MEET THE CAST: CLAIR SULLIVAN🚂

Clair is thrilled to return to the Breckenridge Backstage Theatre stage in Murder on the Orient Express. She recently appeared as Melissa in BBT’s Love Letters, following her return from a brief acting hiatus as Frau Blücher in Young Frankenstein. Her television credits include two regional Emmy-winning shows: City for Youth and Club Connect. Stage credits include The Hands of its Enemy (Marietta), The Sound of Music (Leisl), and Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey). She was also a featured dancer for the world debut of Pleasantville and various national big band acts. Thanks to her family, Michael and Sophie!

- Clair doesn’t wish people to break their legs, because she has broken her’s before in a skiing accident. Instead she would like to say Muchas Mierdas!
- The title of her PHD dissertation: Single Polarity Charge Sensing in High Pressure Xenon Using a Coplanar Anode Configuration🔬
- If you saw BBT’s production of Young Frankenstein, you’ll recognize Clair who played Frau Blucher🐴🐴🐴
- Clair is obsessed with Helen Hubbard and can’t wait to bring her to life!🚂

MEET THE CAST: MATT MILES🚂

Matt couldn’t be more thrilled to return to the mountains of Breckenridge and the boards of BBT, fresh off his recent appearance as Ernest Shackleton in Ernest Shackleton Loves Me with CVRep in Palm Springs. Other recent and regional credits include the sold-out run of Amadeus (dir. Robert Falls) at Steppenwolf and performing as J.W. Milam in Trial in the Delta(Peacock), a three-time Emmy-winning production. TV: Chicago Fire, Med, and P.D. (NBC).

Beyond the Stage⭐️
Coffee Enthusiast: Matt is a dedicated coffee connoisseur - more known better with his friends as a “coffee snob” or “coffee geek” who enjoys exploring the global coffee community, from learning about international microfarms to visiting new cafes to study their design and featured roasts.

Marathon Runner: An avid long-distance runner, Matt has completed three marathons, most recently the Big Sur International Marathon in 2024. He is currently training for his next race in Europe for 2027.

Vintage Scooterist: When he isn’t acting, Matt is an active member of a Vespa Club in Chicago. He proudly rides a 1967 Vintage Vespa and frequently participates in the annual Slaughterhouse scooter rally.

Cinematographer: In addition to his acting career, Matt runs Fresh Roasted Films, a Chicago-based video production company with his Partner and Spouse Agnes.
