Mettlesome rock & roll from Brooklyn, this all-female group is bursting with hot-rodding riffs and snarling vocals, hearkening back to classic dark punk.
The Lookout Honeys, una banda punk femenina, have played several tours in Latin America, as well as an abundance of shows on the East Coast of the U.S. and in their hometown of New York City. Frontwoman Mexi, a native of Mexico City and El Salvador, brings a wonderful Latina vivaciousness to the band, singing in both Spanish and English. A trained dancer, she creates a deep synergy between her bodily movements and her vocal expression. Maegan (guitar and vocals), Aileen (bass), Carrie (drums on Aguacatero), and Heather (current drummer) have each been part of the New York music scene for decades. In the past and present, they have been members of Freaky Wilderness, Eljin Marbles, Jeffrey Lewis, Peter Stampfel, Bikini Carwash, and Hekla, to name a few. The Lookout Honeys have been guests on Mexican television, performed live on Bull Terrier FM CDMX radio, and been interviewed by numerous other radio stations and podcasts in New York City, Guatemala City, San Salvador, and Mexico City.
🎤 Fool & The World plays high-energy indie rock with cinematic lyrics, angelic harmonies, and astounding, quantum-theoretical musical compositions that resonate with the frequency of your soul. Conjured in Brattleboro, Vermont, their music sounds like the mutant lovechild of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Fleet Foxes that was raised by Tom Waits.
