A new session of wheel throwing classes with Karen Horton will begin on Tuesday evenings, September 15th, from 5:30-8:30. Open to all levels and experience. We will work on basic skills, and work to develop your own personal style of working with clay. The cost of the 10 week session is $350 plus the cost of clay. Independent practice time is included on most Friday and Saturdays from 10-5.

A new class is beginning September 14th, 2026. Class runs Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm for 6 weeks at Brattleboro Clayworks. These twice weekly classes will encourage you to really get your hands into clay. Let’s see what happens! Wheel throwing or hand building - I am hoping for easier trimming, altering, decorating, and more. Open to beginners or beyond. We will work together to enhance your skills. Cost for the class is $400 with additional fee for clay. Free practice time on most Fridays and Saturdays during showroom hours.

Heartfelt thanks to the Clayworks potters who joined us for the "throw-a-thon" last Saturday. They produced 25 beautiful soup bowls in two hours for annual October Empty Bowls dinner.
