Two weeks ago we finished shooting our first short film at Epsilon Spires Inc. in downtown Brattleboro! The Sisters of Hennibrook Downs is about a group of nuns who are haunted by a poltergeist but are hesitant to call upon the local exorcist. We look forward to showing it to you when it’s done, but in the meantime, here’s a peek behind the scenes! Thank you Brattleboro, thank you Epsilon Spires Inc. , thank you to all the wonderful members of our community who support us in making local art.

Can you help feed our apprentices and crew? We’re asking for community support as we start pre-production on our new short film. We’ve taken on six young Vermonter apprentices, who will have the opportunity to work alongside filmmaking professionals across a bunch of departments. If you can contribute by cooking, donating groceries, or items from your garden, please fill out the form at food.vermontsuitcasecompany.com or shoot us a DM and let us know!

We had a wonderful show last night at Park-McCullough House in Bennington! Park McCullough Governor’s Mansion is an awesome organization that facilitates tons of programming throughout the year in North Bennington, and it’s also a beautiful property to walk around. Please check them out! Our next show is tonight in Brookfield at the Old Town Hall at 7:00 pm! See you there!

We’re at Park-McCullough House tomorrow July 7th at 6:00 pm, and very excited to be back! Two years ago, they were nice enough to let us take pictures in our costumes inside the mansion - here are a couple of our favs as well as some shots from the performance outdoors.

Ready for our summer theater tour? We open tomorrow!

With his annual fundraising gala approaching, where is the councilman’s daughter? If the papers find out she’s playing “Shipyard Sally” with those bohemians down by the docks, his campaign is finished! Will Otto, the hired gun, rescue her in time? Will Louisa the maid claim the reward for herself? Can they do it before the banker demolishes their historic hotel headquarters? Action, intrigue, romance, international affairs, and so much more! “My Lady of Whims” has it all! Come watch The Vermont Suitcase Company unravel threads and tie up loose ends in this silent film adaptation.
