And just like that, it's official. 🚉✨ Today, Brattleboro's new Amtrak station welcomed its first passengers.

From our home in the historic 1915 Union Station, we're especially excited to celebrate this new chapter in Brattleboro's rail story. We're also thrilled that the new station includes an accessible platform, helping make train travel to and from Brattleboro more welcoming and accessible for everyone.

Special congrats to Cynthia Parker-Houghton whose Brattleboro Words Trail Map mural was unveiled at today's ribbon-cutting ceremony, and to everyone who helped bring this project across the finish line.

It's really happening! 🚉 Tomorrow (6/24) at 1 p.m., Brattleboro's new Amtrak station officially opens across the tracks from BMAC.

Over the past months, we've had a front-row seat to the transformation, watching the station take shape from our windows and seeing excitement build throughout town. Lately, we've especially loved spotting all the train coloring pages brightening storefronts downtown, a reminder that this project has captured the imagination of the whole community.

We'll be cheering from across the tracks. See you tomorrow, Brattleboro!

We’ve loved having artwork by Jonathan Ryan Storm in our window bays this past year. ✨

We're in the final weeks of the installation being on view before we refresh the space for summer. We’re so grateful for the color and energy these works have brought to the front of the museum over the past months.

TIME WAS A RIVER, TOO is on few through the end of June. Stop by for one last look đź‘€

As the school year comes to a close, we're sending a heartfelt thank you to the hundreds of students and teachers who visited BMAC on field trips this year. Your energy, curiosity, creativity, and sense of wonder brought our galleries to life and reminded us why this work matters.

We're especially grateful to M&T Bank for supporting K–6 field trips to the museum and helping make these experiences possible for young learners throughout our region. Thank you for a wonderful year of exploration, discovery, and art.

Thank you, Alice Dodge and Seven Days, for this terrific piece on two of our exhibitions on view through July 5: Jude Griebel's ELEGY FOR THE CONSUMED and Robin Crofut-Brittingham's MIGRATIONS.

Jude Griebel’s “Elegy for the Consumed” and Robin Crofut-Brittingham’s “Migrations” prompt viewers to look at the animals we eat and those we observe.
