Hey guys, Will here.

I am sure a lot of you heard yesterday, but Caffeine & Octane have officially sold Lanier Raceway to a development company. The facility as we know it is going to change a lot over the coming years. C&O is still going to operate the track through November, so we will have the opportunity to have one more race event. After that, our future there is very uncertain.

That said, I have been working with Fatman’s RC Garage to build a new mobile track that we can set up in parking lots for on road racing and flat oval. I have a location secured about 10min away in Flowery Branch/Oakwood right off Thurman Tanner Rd. More info to come soon!

For now I will try and keep everyone posted with info as soon as I find out. We could get lucky and the track stays intact for another season or two, but currently we are trying to pivot so there is no interruption in our ability to host races.

Big shoutout to our winners today and to everyone who came out for some Money Racing sponsored by Fat Man’s RC Garage. Bob Fitzpatrick took home 1st place and TQ, Jimmy Brown 2nd and Joel Judkins in 3rd for Traxxas. Joel got the win in SR10, Will Rigdon 2nd and Jimmy Brown 3rd.

Money Racing this weekend at Lanier Raceway!

$25 Entry, spectating is free. Gates open at 10AM, Drivers Meeting at 12PM (Noon), racing to immediately follow.

Payout is for Stock Traxxas, $125 for 1st, $50 for 2nd, $25 for 3rd and $50 for our TQ. We will run 20 Lap seeding race (Random Draw), 30 Lap Qualifying Race (top 3 from each race move on), 20 Lap LCQ (top 2 move on), and a 40 Lap Main (8 car field).

Hey guys, we hope everyone is getting ready for our next Money Race on September 13th. Here are the rules for the Traxxas Class. Almost the same as our normal box stock class with the exception of being allowed to run open controller and aluminum shock caps. Everything else is the same. We will tech everyone finishing in the money plus 4th place incase there is a DQ.

Race format will be 20 Lap seeding race (Random Draw), 30 Lap Qualifying Race (top 3 from each race move on), 20 Lap LCQ (top 2 move on), and a 40 Lap Main (8 car field).
