We are so excited to officially introduce the team behind Seussical Jr.—a talented group of theatre professionals, educators, performers, and mentors who are passionate about helping young artists grow both on and off the stage.

With decades of combined experience in professional theatre, arts education, performance, choreography, vocal instruction, youth development, and production, our team is committed to creating an unforgettable summer filled with creativity, confidence-building, friendship, and fun. Whether your child is stepping onto a stage for the very first time or already loves performing, they’ll be guided by a team that believes every child deserves to be seen, encouraged, and celebrated.

And guess what? In just ONE WEEK, we’ll kick off our first audition workshop! 🎭✨

These incredible 417 youth performers will bring musical theatre duets to life through powerful storytelling, real scene-partner connection, and the magic that can only happen when actors work together. This concert is all about listening, trusting, and shining side by side.

This summer, we’re diving into the wonderfully wacky world of Seussical Jr. at Dance Branson & SHINE 417 Studio 🎉

Advanced Musical Theatre Acting a Song/Scene Class Update! 🚨

Beginning tonight— NEW CLASS TIME — Every Wednesday, 7:15–8:15 PM ✨

This is your chance to level up in a room full of serious, hard-working actors and singers. We focus on acting a song and scene—because you can’t master partnership, presence, and performance chemistry alone in your bedroom mirror.

Class time is where you train for the togetherness that happens on stage: working off one another, performing in front of peers, and learning to control that audition adrenaline instead of letting it control you.

SOMEONE GET THIS OGRE A CROWN 👑

This is Luke Transeau absolutely owning “Who I’d Be” from Shrek the Musical at our recent concert, and honestly… this moment says it all. A senior at Branson Schools, football player and a musical theatre standout, Luke proves that strength and vulnerability belong on the same stage.

Luke is currently gearing up to star as Willard in Footloose the Musical this March with —and if this performance is any indication, audiences are in for something special.

Heartfelt, grounded, and fearless, Luke reminds us exactly why we do this work: to give kids the space to become who they’re meant to be.

PS— Our Spring Concert, Shine in Concert: Duets, is now accepting submissions through February 1st. If you’ve got a story to tell, a partner to share the stage with, and the courage to step into the spotlight, this journey is for you. ⭐️

“Good girl, Winnie Foster…” ✨

At just 9 years old, Norah Sue Gumm stole the spotlight at our recent concert singing Good Girl Winnie Foster from Tuck Everlasting.

So much heart, confidence, and storytelling in every note—she’s definitely not staying in one place for long. 🐸

Norah Sue, we are so proud of your hard work, commitment to training week after week and earnest storytelling. We love watching you do what you love, and are the luckiest to be a small part of your on stage journey here 🥹
