📣We're honored to announce the full cast and creative team for our summer production of The Wizard of Oz.

🎭Director Hannah Ryan** (Hamilton, An American in Paris) will be reenvisioning this L. Frank Baum story. The intimate setting of Legacy Theatre poses
unique creative opportunities to telling this famed tale. But, with that comes
a chance to surprise the audience with innovative elements they have not seen
before. The show will feature time-honored songs such as “Somewhere Over The
Rainbow,” “If I only Had a Heart” and much more!

⭐The cast includes: Rod Brogan* (Wizard/Prof. Marvel), Sophia Coppola (Ensemble), Jimmy Donohue (Lion/Zeke), Lucas Dylan (Ensemble), Olivia Fenton (Wicked Witch/Miss Gulch), Rick Fountain Jr. (Emerald City Guard / Uncle Henry), Nicholas Futris (Swing), Fletcher Hooten (Ensemble), Sarah Anne Hughes (Glinda/Aunt Em), Annika Jonker (Dorothy), Sophia Nardone (Swing), Madeline Olexy (Ensemble), Jenna Ptachcinski (Ensemble/Aunt Em), Charles Romano (Scarecrow), Ron St. John III (Ensemble), and Garrett Van Allen (Tin Man).

📣Legacy Theatre is now accepting submissions for our upcoming production of The Odd Couple!

🎭Production Timeline:
Monday, August 17th: First rehearsal
Thursday, September 10th: First Preview
Sunday, October 4th: Closing performance

🎥 Audition/Submission Requirements:
• Headshot
• Resume
• A short monologue in the style of the show.
• Optional: a special skill, or personality showcase
• Please keep videos submissions to approximately 3 minutes.

⭐️Additional Notes:
• Actors should be local or have local housing
• Equity and Non-Equity contracts are available

We'll be announcing the full cast for our summer production of The Wizard of Oz soon. But we just couldn’t wait to make public that a local newcomer has been brought on board to play Dorothy’s pup, Toto! 🐾

Gus (who prefers being known by a mononym), is a resident of our beautiful shoreline community of Stony Creek and is thrilled to be making his stage debut as part of this classic story to be reimagined as the summer centerpiece of our Mainstage season. ⭐

He will be joined by an exceptionally talented cast, and an outstanding creative team led by Director Hannah Ryan (Hamilton, An American in Paris). When not preparing for his role, Gus can be found greeting guests at The Thimbleberry Seaside Deli & Ice Cream Shop in Stony Creek.

Speaking of ice cream, stay tuned for an exciting announcement about an exclusive all-natural flavor that's being developed by Ashley’s Ice Cream to celebrate The Wizard of Oz this summer. More info coming soon!

The Wizard of Oz runs from July 9th through August 9th, Thursdays through Sundays, with both matinee and evening performances. 🌈
