πͺ KNOCK KNOCK. WHO'S THERE? π Some urban legends are better left alone.
In THE KNOCK KNOCK MAN (2025), a group of teenagers attempts to summon a mysterious entity through an old urban legend. Naturally, things go horribly wrong when someone breaks the rules.

Writer-director Joseph Mazzaferro delivers an indie supernatural slasher packed with '80s horror influences, creepy creature design, practical gore and some genuinely atmospheric moments.
And the opening 911 call? π Let's just say it grabbed our attention.
Mazzaferro told More Horror:
"I'm an '80s kid, and I grew up during what I consider one of the greatest eras of horror filmmaking. Slasher movies were a huge part of my childhood, and that fascination never really went away."
As someone who grew up on Freddy Krueger and the supernatural slashers of that era myself, I can appreciate those influences. There's something pretty cool about seeing filmmakers create their own monsters after growing up with the ones that inspired them.
The film has its familiar genre territory, but there's plenty to appreciate here, including an ending that left me smiling.
