The following programs will be running this summer. We are still taking enrollment for these camps and classes up until the session begins. You can also choose to do a drop in day or class. Hope to see you this summer.

Who’s ready for the next level of dance? We are looking for you. Come tryout for the one of the top scoring studios on the South Shore on Sunday, June 7th. Show up during the time of your age bracket listed in flyer. Wear black dance attire, jazz shoes or turners. (Dancers who are on the cusp of the age should come to the younger tryout. If suggested, they may have to stay for the next age level.) Don’t worry if your dancer does not have all the Acro tricks suggested. These are just basic guidelines. There is a $15 tryout fee. Payments can be made by Venmo to -keddy with dancers name attending in memo.

Next up in our “Senior Spotlight” is Kaelyn McLoughlin. We have had the pleasure of teaching Kaelyn for the past 11 years. Throughout those years she has been a member of our dance team and has been featured in many of our advanced teen recital dances. We know the bond formed amount the dancers in her class will live on forever. Kaelyn’s early love of animals, especially horses, lead her to Norfolk Agricultural School where she found her place and her people. As she moves onto the University of Maine for Forestry we wish nothing but success and happiness in what you love to do. Congratulations Kaelyn!

The BDS Dance Team wrapped up their season with a “Pretty in Pink” Banquet last night. We couldn’t be any more proud of this team and all of their amazing accomplishments this season. They are hard working, passionate, talented, driven and the definition of team in so many ways. We love you all and can’t wait for next season already. See you all at tryouts🩷🌸🏆💃

What an amazing “I Wanna Rock” recital yesterday. We are so proud of all of our dancers, choreographers, and staff. While we wrap up our 19th season at BDS, I just want to say thank you all for everything. As we are running around back stage doing lights, sound, props and preparation, we always take moments to reflect and enjoy all the hard work. Here are some of our favorite memories from a different backstage perspective. I hope you enjoy and great job to all of our performers. We are so proud to announce our next “Senior Spotlight” Sarah Suplee. Sarah has been dancing at BDS for 15 years. Since the day we asked her to be on our competition team, she has never stopped putting in the extra work to excel in her craft. Sarah has been a feature in many of our highest scoring group routines. As a soloist she has won many 1st place scores, multiple scholarships and awards, titles, and now a spot on the Merrimack dance team. Her love for dance shows when she is on stage and in class. She never stops working hard and Merrimack will be so lucky to have her by their side. We will miss you so much but know you are going places. Can’t wait to follow your new journey. Congratulations Sarah🩷
