Our mission is to provide experiences, and opportunities to build confidence, independence, and community.
🛡️ We aim to protect our youth by not posting identifiable images of minors. Cosmos’ Lounge is a teen-first community space operated by Cosmos Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Bradford, Pennsylvania. The Lounge provides a welcoming third space for teens and young adults ages 12–
20 to spend time together outside of school and home. Cosmos’ Lounge is designed to support connection, belonging, and positive social experiences in a safe, age-appropriate environment. Participation is voluntary, unstructured, and centered on peer connection—there are no expectations, requirements, or pressure to perform, learn, or achieve specific outcomes. Activities may include games, creative and social events, open mic nights, trivia, themed gatherings, and community partnerships. Programming varies by day and time and is intended to offer teens a place to relax, socialize, and be themselves. Staff and volunteers are present to support a safe and respectful environment, but the Lounge does not provide supervision equivalent to childcare services or individualized instruction. By engaging with Cosmos’ Lounge, participants and families acknowledge the Lounge’s role as a community gathering space focused on social connection and access rather than formal services.
