September is bringing three new workshops to Groovy Glaze, with a little something for both kids and adults! 🍂✨

🦊 Kids Ceramic Bobblehead Workshop | Sept. 13th at 2pm
Kids will handbuild their own working ceramic bobblehead, and they can turn it into an animal, person, character or whatever they can dream up! $40 per child, with a return visit to glaze included.

🍁 Falling Leaves Ceramic Wall Hanging | Sept. 14 + 21 at 6:30 PM
A two-part handbuilding workshop! Night one, we’ll create the leaves and ceramic hanging piece from clay. Night two, we’ll glaze using specialty glazes and a rustic finishing technique, plus learn how to assemble the finished wall hanging. $60 per person.

🫧 Bubble Glaze Wine Glass Class | Sept. 28 at 6 PM
Learn our bubble glazing technique while creating a ceramic stemless wine glass! Choose from several color combinations, blow glaze bubbles, and layer them to create a completely one-of-a-kind finish.

Three completely different projects, three chances to try something new. Spots are limited for each workshop, so grab yours before they fill up! 🍂🎨

New Fall Hours at Groovy Glaze 🍂

Okay, we know… our hours have changed a few times. 😅 And we’re sorry for any confusion that comes along with that!
The truth is, we’re still learning what works best for both our community and our little studio. Some days we’re packed, other days are incredibly quiet, and finding that middle ground between being available when you need us and not being open simply for the sake of being open has taken a little trial and error.

So, heading into fall, we’re making another adjustment, starting Sept. 1st our new hours are as follows:

FALL STUDIO HOURS
Monday: 4–8 PM
Tuesday: CLOSED
Wednesday: CLOSED
Thursday: 4–8 PM
Friday: 4–8 PM
Saturday: 12–8 PM
Sunday: 12–6 PM

Keeping Monday evenings and extending our Sunday hours means there are still plenty of opportunities throughout the week to come create with us, even with being closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Thank you for growing with Groovy Glaze and being patient while we figure out what works best. Owning a small business involves a whole lot of experimenting, adjusting and learning as we go, and we’re incredibly grateful that you continue to show up and create with us through all of it. We will revisit our hours again in the winter 🫶

Just a reminder of our last taste of summer event on Sunday!! These two beautiful pieces are special to the event only !! We will also have the Sip Stop on site with freshly squeeze lemonade, and a special lemon cello drink just for this event!!! Iris and Ivy will be on site selling end of summer clothing and accessories, and we will have some snack snacks available as well!! it’s gonna be a great event with lots of one-of-a-kind items.
