Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project

Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project We present three productions each year that feature the talents of the Suncoast’s greatest entertainers.

The mission of Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project is to raise awareness, provide assistance, and perpetuate a life of dignity for those affected and infected by HIV and AIDS. Popular cabarets/concerts in the fall, readings of LGBTQ dramas on World AIDS Day and a Pride parody every summer are just a few of the shows presented by SATP in conjunction with MattocS Productions. SATP has raised thousands of dollars over the years for Metro Inclusive Health, Broadway Cares, The Trevor Project, The Names Project and many more. SATP was founded by beloved theatre worker and activist Garry Allan Breul. Garry passed away in the summer of 2017, but his legacy of giving lives on in an affirmation of a great man that spent many years on the frontlines of the early years of the AIDS crisis.
