The Village of the Arts is home to galleries/studios, restaurants and speciality shops all nestled in a historic residential neighborhood in downtown Bradenton. This vibrant live/work art community is home to galleries, studios, restaurants, specialty shops and healing art businesses housed in colorfully restored 1920s bungalows. Located five blocks from downtown Bradenton, the Village offers an eclectic mix of art, fashion, music, wellness, gourmet cuisine and literature, making it a unique destination for both tourists and locals alike. Business hours and number of merchants vary daily, with a majority of merchants open on Friday and Saturday. Special events include a monthly Artwalk held on the First Friday weekend of every month (11am-4pm on Friday and 11am-4pm on Saturday.

Still a little time to see the art show at St. Petersburg Opera Company featuring Village artist Alfredo Garcia.

The show can be viewed at the Mirella Cimato Art Gallery at the St. Petersburg Opera Company, Monday-Friday, 1-5pm. Loccated at 2145 1st Avenue South, St. Pete.

Alfredo Garcia is closed here in the Village for the remainder of August for vacation and will be back with some beautiful new art in September.
