05/14/2026
Well… the curtain’s down, the last note played,
The chairs are stacked, the cables laid.
Another season has come and gone—
Bittersweet, yet brightly sung.
There was hard work, yes, that much is true,
But far more joy because of you.
Your laughter echoed through the room,
And turned our little patch to bloom.
Thank you for showing up each night,
For clapping loud and shining bright.
Thank you for your energy, cheer,
For bringing neighbors year by year.
And oh, those snack tables—what a sight!
Cookies, dips, and treats just right.
A concert hall? Perhaps… maybe…
But also part community bakery.
Now while the season takes its bow,
We’re already dreaming bigger now.
The 2026–27 season’s in the air,
And we’re planning something beyond compare.
We’ll keep the magic you already know,
Then turn the charm up one more row.
Better music, deeper grooves,
More laughs and unexpected moves.
The venue too will sparkle bright,
Even more enchanting night by night.
And musically? Oh, just wait and see—
A joyful, eclectic jamboree!
Maybe strings in symphonic style,
A brass quartet with golden smile.
Some jazz that swings and sways just right,
Americana by soft lamp light.
Tender ballads, rich and warm,
Bluesy bass with comic charm.
Plenty of harmonies floating free—
Music stitched with community.
So have yourselves a “chill” summer season,
Relax, recharge—you’ve earned it for good reason.
Then dust off your dancing shoes once more,
Because October’s waiting at the door…
(Though don’t be surprised if September appears
With a special pre-season tune for your ears.)
Until then, dear friends, stay happy, stay patched,
And thank you for making this season unmatched.
