After months of waiting I now have a Behringer CZ-1 MINI! It’s certainly an interesting little box of tricks, but with some strange quirks. I need to finish off a current CCT project, then I can get cracking on a CZ-1 MINI vs real Casio CZ video. Stay tuned!

USPS took almost TWO weeks to deliver a CASIO ROM Pack to me! It had quite the journey with multiple stops, including postal ping pong between Ybor City and Tampa. At least it got to CCT eventually!

After almost 5 months of waiting, my Behringer CZ-1 Mini is finally being shipped! When it arrives, I can finally make my Behringer vs Casio direct comparison video. I’m currently working on two other videos right now, so I’d better get those finished ASAP…

For all those waiting for my Behringer CZ-1 Mini review/ comparison with the original Casios, I’m still waiting for delivery. I pre-ordered it on 10/20/2025, 4+ months later it’s showing as “Waiting for Items”. Hopefully it will arrive soon!

Congratulations Sam, aka Look Mum No Computer, for being chosen to represent the UK in the 2026 Eurovision! An incredibly creative musician, inventor & force of nature, he’s one of my major inspirations. I also got to visit his amazing museum the other year & get a photo with him!

Casio DG-20 Digital MIDI Guitar - Grrr! Thought I was working on a simple fix it video, only to find that it’s not so simple! Previous owner (dodgy) repair, replaced T3 transistor, intermittent operation, and now not powering on at all...

Looks promising & I'm glad Casio are still developing niche products, though I'm somewhat surprised that they haven't embraced the SK name and form factor. It comes across as a reworked & more compact XW-PD1 with an actual display. Aesthetically it looks a bit too Teenage Engineering, which is ironic considering TE borrowed heavily on Casio's aesthetics for many of their own products!

Found this in Goodwill for $4.99. Not a Casio, but how could I resist?!!! I already own a Meowsic, but I might finally try a bit of circuit bending with this one after seeing Simon The Magpie's video of a modified Meowsic!
