Twenty-three-year-old Chinese pianist Ying Li performs with principal string players of the Sarasota Orchestra TOMORROW, 4pm, at Church of the Palms. In the program: Dvorák’s Piano Quintet in A Major, Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23, a solo piano arrangement of the Firebird Suite, and more. This program promises to be a tour de force! Hey all, keep your eye on our website for the latest schedule. There are some changes to this weekend! The main thing is the Saturday Piano Peeps is merged with Sunday Piano Peeps.

Biggest thing to watch for: Saturday Student winners' recital, Sunday Peeps, and Sunday Vieness Duo Concert.

And don't forget tomorrow masterclass with Ying Li and of course her fabulous concert on Thursday at Church of The Palms.

PianoPalooza! opening weekend success. We were so pleased with the entries in this year's student piano competition. We have 6 students who will be performing in the winners' recital next Saturday evening at 7pm.

Yesterday's Fun and games, Piano Peeps, and jazz concert were a lot of fun. If you missed the opportunity to win a fabulous pair of piano socks, join us next Sunday and maybe you can walk away with a prize!

And don'f forget Wednesday's masterclass with Ying Li, Thursday's concert featuring Ying Li and the Sarasota Orchestra musicians, and next weekend's events.

Hey folks, today is the day! Come one out to the PianoPalooza! opening festivities at 2:30pm, followed by the piano peeps at 3 and a FREE and FABULOUS jazz session at 4:30pm.

Our kickoff features some fun and games, and the Piano Peeps is always a great time. Today we have lots of Romantic music and some jazz. And following all of that, Dr. Peter Carney, Don Bryn, Bob Lunergan, and Pet Innocenti are going to jam for a JazzPalooza good time!

IMPORTANT NEWS!
Due to a travel restriction, Antonio Chen Guang could not make it to the U.S. today. The Saturday evening concert and Sunday afternoon masterclasses have been cancelled.

A couple of changes have been made to make the schedule work more fluidly, so please look at the web page for the latest schedule. The changes are as follows;

The Opening Kickoff will take place Sunday at 2:30pm instead of Saturday.
Saturday's Piano Peeps will be merged with Sunday's Peeps at 3pm! We will stick to Sunday's jazz theme, but of course anyone who wants to play any style is welcome and encouraged.
