SATURDAY, MAY 30th! “Daisy” is a contemporary musical exploring the boundaries of happiness, love, and free will through the lens of Daisy Buchanan, the well known character from The Great Gatsby.
But how well do we know Daisy? Through pathos and empathy, Abby Rodi’s beautiful songs carry the depth of these characters through a reexamination of the “celebration” of the USA’s Gilded Age, as each character must ask themselves what they truly want, and if what they already have is truly worth risking.

Have you ever just wanted to get away from it all & just GO: south, to a country where you don't know the language well, and you aren't prepared for how people drive, and your best friends are driving you crazy after the third day, and life feels so short that there must be greater meaning to it somewhere, in the thatched roofs, in the crisp cold Victorias, the eyes of some stranger at a resort, in the authenticity of a napkin container? !Claro que sí! Let this one-act comedy by Marc Baudin transport you away from your own neurotic musings about life and into those of a group of travelers as they stop to rest and reflect on what they want. The beer is cold, and the salt is not just on the lime. Playing in the afternoon Sunday Shorts block on May 31st!
