Happy Day #2 of Caroline's 40th birthday birth week countdown. it is story time.
Loving, Kind and Generous. White, divorced female, animal lover seeks new family. i am a drama queen, baby. I had an attack cat growing up. The dog was demure. better watch out for the cat though you wont see her coming.
Coco Kitty was passive aggressive. She used her own s**t as a weapon. "Chocolate Auclair" was her official name. it was a pun, a play on words, a joke, meant to remind you of a "chocolate eclair." Our last name at that time was Auclair.
my fabulous mother in law, Jean from the hill country of Waco, from the JAR BAR 6 ranch legacy, had remarried and changed everybody's last name Collins to Auclair. Chris and i were going to create the Carrolwood Ranch. C. A. Double R. O. L. W. Double O. D. i had my own problems. i was a failure to launch.
my cat had problems too. Coco Kitty was passive aggressive. she was strategically s**tting on the bed, on Caroline's bed, right in the very center of the bedspread. Damn Cat. how many times did i have launder the bedspread, the sheets, the mattress cover. ? When she s**t in the middle of Bobby's laundry basket i thought it was funny. he did not. When she s**t on bedspread. i found her a new home.
In hind sight, maybe i could have saved the relationship by consulting a cat psychiatrist but i just cleaned up the mess. every time. i need to start back at the beginning. You see Coco Kitty was my first baby, i got her when she was small kitten. she used to sleep under the nook of my chin, on my front shoulder. it was warm and cozy and i could keep her secure with a nod of my chin, by moving my neck. Coco Kitty and i were tight and she did not take too kindly to the new baby.
Yep the new baby was a problem for Coco Kitty. i looked down at my feet to the kitchen floor while i was cooking and Caroline was crawling towards to the cat's food. in fact she was trying to eat out of the cat's bowl. i swooped her up and placed her in the play pin in the kitchen.
a couple of minutes later, Coco Kitty is in the crib, raising her leg peeing on Caroline's head. Coco Kitty got her first flying lessen that day cause Dad saw it. I am sure dad's ears turned red. If you have ever met my father, you already know you had better run, if you see his ears turn red.
next thing i hear is the sound of Coco Kitty's body as she landed against the far back wall of the garage, thrown with a great deal of force from my father's arm. That's nothing. i remember when dad punched the horse. he literally clocked the horse mule i was trying to ride, who was trying to scrape be off his back, but cutting my leg against the bob wire fence.
Dad saw it. He said get off the horse Beth, and then he threw a punch. He used his fist and punched the horse. just like in the movie Blazing Saddles. He clocked that horse mule, Sach. you could see the horse trying not to lose consciousness. he was stunned. That is how you are supposed to throw punch Caroline, not those little gentle fawn hit. Sure you can give somebody a black eye, but you leave them standing, motivated to clean your clock.
Back to passive aggressive pets. my sister's dog wrestled with Chandler the second son when he was born. Chandler did not want to share his toys with Ranger. and Ranger liked to leave a turd outside his closed bedroom door for him to find in the morning when he stepped outside his room. Ops did somebody step in s**t?
Well when i found Coco Kitty's turd in my new future 2nd ex-husband's laundry basket, i laughed. how many times did Caroline come to me complaining cause dof Coco Kitty. i fixed it, every time. i loved Coco Kitty and i understood her. well here was Bobby coming to me, saying fix it. well i did. i fixed it. i got rid of Bobby. it seemed like the best case scenario. i kept Caroline and Coco Kitty.
But when Coco Kitty s**t on my bed, i found her a new home. You got to cut your losses. Well that is what my family has had to do. We have had to find pets other homes. We have had to remove access, a kind way of removing a family member. it took me a while to notice, that my family eventually got rid of me. But i understand. i am passive aggressive too.
