The photo on the left is a cropped photograph of the stained glass window at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sassamansville, PA. Our Spiritus Gladius, my interpretation isn't an exact duplicate of the window, but it is my interpretation.

Fresh off the bench, it's not easy to go from a b&w photo and paint in color and be accurate. This building has been gone since spring 1962, so I never saw it since I wasn't born until 1965. However, I'm happy with the results.
St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church circa 1887. Before that we shared a union church with a Mennonite congregation and Shepherd of the Hills U.C.C. that was built by Henry Sassaman.
