We want to thank Master Spinner (and back to back Indiana State Fair Grand Champion Winner - can she make it a 3-peat?) Vanessa Rich from Giggling Goat Creations for going above and beyond today in the name of fiber arts!
Earlier in the day she did spinning demos with her Satin Angora Trouble, where she gave an extremely well spoken lesson on spinning straight from the bun itself and engaged kids to try plucking! (15 min video is posted in this feed from earlier today - go watch).

Was she done? Nope - just getting started. Later in the afternoon she taught our advanced spinning class at on how to spin a fractal. Whether you took the course or you audited it (a new option we are offering!) students were treated to a wealth of knowledge and experience!

We are so lucky to have her as a resource and teacher - but most importantly a friend!
