A little trip down memory lane… because sometimes you have to stop and look at how far you’ve come.
When we started W9Y Entertainment, we had a vision, a whole lot of ambition, and probably more confidence than we had any business having 😂
What started with a couple of speakers, a few events, and a dream has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of.
Over the years, we’ve invested in better equipment, built a team, taken on bigger events, expanded into corporate and production work, traveled, learned some hard lessons, made plenty of mistakes, and said “well… we’ve never done THAT before” more times than we can count.
And yes, the equipment has grown. A LOT.
But the biggest growth has been in us.
We’ve grown as business owners. We’ve grown as creatives. We’ve learned how to build an experience instead of simply showing up with a playlist and speakers. We’ve learned when to take the leap, when to pivot, and when to trust ourselves enough to go after the opportunities that once felt way too big.
Looking at these photos side by side is a pretty cool reminder that growth doesn’t always happen overnight.
Sometimes it looks like one event at a time.
One client at a time.
One scary investment at a time.
One “let’s see if we can pull this off” at a time.
And somehow, all of those little moments add up.
We’re proud of where W9Y started.
We’re proud of where we are today.
And we’re even more excited about where we’re going.
