The BG International Festival is a celebration of cultural diversity for the entire family taking place the last Saturday each September - rain or shine.

Festival the last Saturday each September featuring 3 stages of traditional & modern music & dance, authentic foreign foods, an international bazaar and edutainment activities including dance lessons by some performers!

Luis Villarreal is a proud father and husband, born and raised in Venezuela, and Bowling Green has become his new home. Since he was little, he has had a passion for science, which led him to study Physics and Astronomy. He has dedicated more than 18 years to teaching Physics. He shares his curiosity and creativity through learning new languages and exploring art by doing handicrafts and DIY projects, drawing portraits, and painting. He greatly enjoys spending time with family and friends, sharing good moments, watching movies at home, and feeding the friendly animals that visit his backyard.

His design is inspired by Circus Square, a place that brings together people from diverse cultures who live in Bowling Green every year. It symbolises the unity of humanity, mutual respect, the blessing of sharing this blue planet—the Earth—as our home, and our commitment to respecting and protecting it.
