Before they opened for Oasis, before the tours and the Grammys, Cage the Elephant were just regulars here at Southern Lanes. Nights under the buzzing lights, rolling frames, hanging out like everybody else. The kind of memories that stick, long after the pins fall.

This October, that same energy meets the season of ghosts and pumpkins. Wristband Wednesday runs from 6 PM to 10 PM. Twenty dollars covers unlimited bowling, shoe rental, laser tag, and bumper cars.

The week before Halloween is more than a Wednesday night. It is a chance to write your own story, to give your kids the kind of memory they will carry for years. Two weekends left. The trunk-or-treats and school parties start landing now, which means the costume needs to be in hand, not on the way.

Halloween Express still has kids, adults, toddlers, plus sizes, and pets, along with wigs, masks, makeup, and accessories.

Nine days out, and the anticipation grows. Halloween at Southern Lanes is not just candy and costumes, it is memory-making in real time.

On Sunday, October 25th from 4 PM to 7 PM, Southern Lanes will host its 12th Annual Trick or Treat. Local businesses will line the walkways, handing out candy, coupons, and more, while kids in costumes rush from table to table, faces lit up by something more than blacklight glow. Inside, the bumper cars spin, the arcade hums, and the lanes echo with laughter.

Years from now, children will not remember what was in their trick-or-treat bags, but they will remember nights like this. Mark the date. The countdown is almost over.

Fall Break has faded, but the season is just heating up. The air carries that October chill, porches glow with carved faces, and Southern Lanes hums under blacklight like a carnival of ghosts.

Cosmic Bowling runs every Thursday from 9 PM to 1:30 AM. The pins glow, the carpet shines like a galaxy, and the music rattles the walls until the whole night feels alive. Families laugh, friends lean into rivalries, and every strike feels like it belongs to the season.

The glow of October nights feels different now. Shadows stretch longer, pumpkins grin from porches, and inside Southern Lanes the black lights make every frame feel like part of Halloween.
