Hey ladies! As you know CM Massage has taken great care of you for the past 4 years! Here is a quick note from Candy concering business going forward:

In efforts to streamline the process and help us stay on schedule through the day, we are switching to a “pay when you book” system July 1. The feature has been there all along through Square so we are going to utilize it.

No more needing to remember to bring cash, your wallet or get cell service to send your payment through Venmo while in the building. You can get your massage and simply zip right out.

Secondly, in efforts to keep having experienced massage therapist available, we have taken the average tip, added it to the old rate and made a new flat rate of $100. No additional tips expected! When you arrive for your retreat, your retreat, and your massage will both already be paid up and you can look forward to a great massage from a very experienced massage therapist!

Oh my goodness! Can you believe the Hill has been the place to be for 20 years? The number of gals that have blessed HHH with their presence has got to be so high! Just in the 8 years Dan, Kristin and I have had the privilege of hosting we are just shy of 7000 gals! We have to ask Cindy how many gals she hosted in her 12 years!

Makes me wonder how many almond bars have been made, how much glitter is in the workspaces and how many loads of laundry have been done? 🤣 Also, how many friendships have been made, how many belly laughs have been had and how many hugs have been shared! 🥰

In celebration of this milestone we have t-shirt & hat iron ons (bring your own t-shirt, sweatshirt or hat & Kristin will put it on for you). Stickers, tumblers and totebags are also available.

We will be celebrating all year so there will be more items added as we go through this wonderful 20th year of being here for you!

Open dates for the rest of 2026! Get them now before they are gone. There are no minimums, up to amounts are just the max you can bring, you can bring smaller groups. There is always the no Frills option available, for the weekend or weekday. Cost is $300 for Friday-sunday or Monday-Wednesday. No Frills is $40.
All meals provided except for the no Frills night.

Do you find yourself like this squirrel, tired of the food hunt everyday, wishing someone else would fix your meals!? Just in case you are wishing that, I thought you might like the options available to join us on the Hill!

These numbers have no minimums, it can be you or two, the whole shabang or anything in between. Come spend some time on the Hill without the daily chore of cooking nagging at you. Kristin has a great menu going all the time!

2026 Open dates on the Hill are as follows:

March 23-25 up to 11 in the cabin

April 13-15 up to 6 in the cabin

May 1-3 up to 4 in the barn

May 4-6 up to 11 in the cabin

May 8-10 Mother's Day up to 4 in the barn Thursday free/check out 10am Sunday

July 13-15 up to 6 in the cabin and up to 4 quilters in the barn with some great quilty gals

Aug 3-5 up to 7 in the barn and up to 5 in the cabin

Aug 14-16 up to 6 in the cabin

Aug 17-19 up to 11 in the cabin

Sept 11-13 up to 4 in the barn

Isn't it time for a sunset on the Hill? I just had 7 spots open up April 10-12! The calendar is so full so this maybe one of few chances this year to visit the Hill. Anyone want to jump on with a sweet group of scrappers? You can be a quilter or any kinda crafter or just need to get away and not think about the outside world or preparing food for 3 days! Come on, you know you wanna! It can be a group of just 3 or 4, doesn't have to be all 7. Holler at me and we will set up you time on the Hill.

Hope everyone has been able to stay warm! We hated to close this weekend and know the 2 groups hated it even more! But we are glad we made the call. It has been a bit eventful and quite cold. We got around 3 inches of ice and sleet, then a couple of inches of snow today! We lost power for a bit the last two nights and the roads are a huge mess. Bowie is NOT the big city. We haven't had a plow go by yet😳. But we have enjoyed the veiws though!

Is it time to think about flocking togther on the Hill?? If so, here are the available spots at Hobby House Hill from now until the end of 2026!

These dates always include the early Thursday or Sunday check in for an additional $40. Cost is $300 Friday-Sunday or Monday-Wednesday.

The parentheses show the total spots available, so you can fill it all, some or even 1, your call. 

The stars are weekday retreats. We need 8 people to open a weekday so sometimes it says you need at least 8, if you have less than the 8, let me know you are interested though because there is sometimes a wait list for the weekdays that have not opened yet.
