Hunter had weekend of ups and downs at the CKNA Spring Nationals, being on the edge of the top 5 in practice. Until happy hour where on lap 4 he got shoved over a curb and bent his chassis 4mm which led to him being 26th. Got it straight and went out for morning warm up today and it was on rails being p3 until the last lap. Was feeling good until qualifying where I got into my head and over drove and put in at p19. Heat 1 was back on rails going through traffic running the same times as the leaders and finishing in p10. Heat 2 starting p10 I made a mistake and forgot to tighten my fuel cap. With that in the right hander hairpin fuel would spill out and get on my tire and I would lose all my grip and slide and go off track. Once the fuel got low enough in the tank I was back on rails by myself. The 2 leaders were run 48.3s and 3-9 were running 43.4-6s constantly and they all were in a draft pushing. I was running 43.5s with no draft and passing go karts. I have the speed to be on the podium possibly to even win. Starting p16 in the final Hunter would go on to Finish 11th at times running in Top 10. Hard fought race and weekend showing he had pace to be a front runner but some of our own mistakes and issues caused by others cost us precious track position!

What a week at CKNA Spring Nationals. I dont have words, from a warning ticket for no turn signal passing a semi in Ohio, flat tire on the Virginia Turnpike, clogged idel jet for practice 1, then all the ups with Pole, both heat race wins and Final win leading every lap of the weekend. I had the kart to beat all weekend. Thank you to my buddy Don Newman for letting me run his motor, Bill Cole for opening up his house to Hunter and I to stay, Coyote Motorsports for a great Zenith chassis, MyChron Mike and Aimsports for always supporting me, Wiggidy Wayne Sauces and my family for all their support of this crazy hobby!!!

🐷🍗 Introducing Wiggidy’s Creamy Kickin’ Hickory Mushroom BBQ Crockpot Chicken Thighs

A sweet-smoky-hickory BBQ chicken thigh recipe that makes its own creamy mushroom BBQ gravy… basically comfort food with attitude. 😈

✅ Ingredients
• 2–3 lbs chicken thighs (boneless or bone-in)
• 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
• ½ cup Kickin’ Hickory BBQ Sauce (Wiggidy Wayne product)
• ½ cup chicken broth (or water)
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp black pepper
• Wiggidy’s Beer Can Chicken (to taste)
• Optional: 1 cup sliced mushrooms (fresh)
• Optional for thick gravy: 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water

🔥 Directions
1. Season chicken thighs with garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper and my Beer Can Chicken Rub & Seasoning.
2. Add chicken thighs to the crockpot.
3. In a bowl, mix together:
• cream of mushroom soup
• Kickin’ Hickory BBQ sauce
• chicken broth
4. Pour the sauce right over the chicken.
5. Optional: add extra mushrooms on top for more mushroom goodness.
6. Cook:
• LOW 6–7 hours (best texture)
• or HIGH 3–4 hours

Serve it smothered over:
• mashed potatoes 🥔
• buttered noodles 🍜
• rice 🍚 (or cauliflower rice)
• biscuits 😍

Top it with:
• chopped parsley
