🚀❤️ WE NEVER CLOSE… BUT FOR THIS, WE ARE! ❤️🚀

If you know us, you know it takes A LOT for Brushstrokes to close our doors. 😂 But some moments are just too special to miss.

Our oldest daughter works for NASA, and the telescope she has been working on is being LAUNCHED! 🚀🔭😭

So we are headed to Cape Canaveral to watch the launch and see all of her hard work literally take flight! 🥹❤️

To say we are proud is an understatement.

🎨➡️🚀 We’re trading paintbrushes for rocket ships for a few days!

🚨 BRUSHSTROKES WILL BE CLOSED FRIDAY–TUESDAY
🎨 WE’LL BE BACK WEDNESDAY!

These dates have been marked closed on our online calendar all month, but we wanted to make sure everyone saw the reminder before the weekend.

Thank you for understanding and for cheering our girl on with us. ❤️ This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime family moments, and there was NO WAY we were missing it!

Now excuse us while we try not to cry through the entire countdown. 😭🚀❤️

I thought it would be fun to start a new little Monday series so you can get to know the faces behind Brushstrokes — and I guess I should go first! 😂

Hi! I’m Laurie, owner of Brushstrokes Art Studio! 👋💕

Most days you can find me with a Diet Coke in one hand 🥤 and a paintbrush (or 12 other things 🤣) in the other.
