🚨 Fabulous New Teacher Alert! 🚨
We are beyond thrilled to welcome Ms. Sue Harrington to the CDW team starting this summer!
Sue, primarily a New Hampshire native, has been dancing since the age of 5 with education in N.H., Florida, Boston, and NYC with well-known dancers such as Pam Raff, Catherine Rapp, and Maurice Hines. While her training and instruction experience include many different genres in the dance education field, tap dance has emerged as her true creative fascination. After teaching for several dance studios throughout New Hampshire over the years, she opened her own dance studio Creative Steps School of Dance from 1998-2020 with her husband in the Lakes Region area of New Hampshire. She currently choreographs and teaches across the New England area.
During her 40-year career as a choreographer and educator Sue ‘s students and choreography continuously receive top accolades winning the highest scoring awards at a regional and national level from well-known dance competitions such as American Dance Awards, Dancers Inc., Star Quest, Groove, Turn It Up, and more.
Sue’s students have gone on to become members of professional dance companies, The LA Charger & N.E. Patriots Cheerleaders, and instructors/choreographers for other well-known studios across the United States. One of the highlights of Sue’s teaching career was in 2019 when one of her students Eddie Hoyt made it to the top 5 boys for the hit Fox show “So You Think You Can Dance”.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, she regularly attends classes to expand her own knowledge. In her classroom, Sue shares not just her love for dance, but a life philosophy built on resilience and determination- because in her vocabulary, ‘can’t simply does not exist.”
In addition to CDW, you can find Sue also teaching full time at Lakes Region Dance in Meredith, NH.
Please help us welcome Ms. Sue to our dance family! 🙌 🎉
