To our wonderful This & That Consignment customers and vendors,
First and foremost, we want to sincerely apologize for having to close unexpectedly or operate with limited hours from time to time over the past two weeks. We know how important it is to be able to count on us, and we truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support.
Unfortunately, COVID has made its way through our staff, with our employees becoming sick within a short period of time of one another. This left us in a difficult position and, at times, we simply did not have enough healthy staff to safely and properly operate the store.
At the same time, we have been facing something very personal that we feel it is now time to share with you. One of our investors was recently diagnosed with cancer. To say this news was a gut punch to us and our business would be an understatement. We are taking things one day at a time, supporting one another, and figuring out how to navigate this unexpected chapter.
While these circumstances have slightly been a setback, we are not giving up. We are regrouping, reorganizing, and making changes to ensure that This & That Consignment continues to be here for our customers and vendors. We are actively hiring dependable daytime staff to help provide the consistency and service you deserve, especially during these challenging times.
We want each and every one of you to know that we are dedicated to ALL of our vendors and customers. Your support has helped make This & That what it is, and we do not take that for granted. We are committed to getting back to a more consistent schedule and continuing to provide the welcoming, dependable consignment experience you have come to expect from us.
We recently launched our old-fashioned candy section, which is just one of many new additions and ideas we have planned for This & That. We have so much more in the works, and we cannot wait to share it with all of you over the coming months.
