Creative Arts Academy

Creative Arts Academy CAA is a professional dance school offering classes in ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop and ballroom.

Creative Arts Academy dancers train in a state-of-the-art facility
containing eight dedicated dance studios with sprung floors in over 25,000 square feet of space. Our dancers have been hired into professional contemporary and ballet companies and have been hired for commercial work as well as modeling for dance apparel companies. They have been accepted into, and received scholarships to attend, modern and ballet programs at universities throughout the United States.

Enjoy the first weeks of school, end of August, and then get ready to dance 🫶

Just a few reminders of the process:

Registration can be done online or in person.

As in previous years, tuition for our September–May dance season is divided into 9 equal monthly payments, charged August through April. There will be no tuition payment due in May, as the nine installments will have already been collected throughout the season.

Your dancer’s $45 registration fee (if applicable) will be charged with the first tuition payment on Aug. 3rd.

Classes will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 8th, following the Labor Day weekend.

Some dancers leave footprints on the stage.

Clare left them on our hearts.

Her kindness, quiet strength, beautiful spirit, and love for dance will forever be part of CAA. She inspired us not only with the way she danced, but with the way she loved, inspired, and lifted those around her.

We will miss her deeply. We will carry her with us in every rehearsal, every performance, and every moment we step into the studio.

Our dancers are working hard this summer!! 🖤

But WHY do dancers need intricate training (IT)?

1. Injury prevention. IT significantly reduces the risk of strains, sprains, and chronic back or point pain.

2. Strength and power. Watch your jumps get higher and your turns get more consistent.

3. Body awareness. Better brain-body connection helps improve technique and ex*****on of choreography.

4. Endurance. Cross-training in the off-season will improve a dancers stamina during the season.

5. Longevity. Dancers must take care of their bodies and nervous systems to avoid feeling burned out.
