We invite you to join us for an evening of music that speaks to the soul. There is something truly special about the music on this program. Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis takes a simple 16th-century melody and transforms it into something transcendent. Written for a string quartet and double string orchestra, the music surrounds the listener with luminous harmonies and rich layers of sound that create a sublime experience. Albinoni’s Adagio for Strings and Organ is one of the most beloved pieces written for strings and is one of those pieces that never fails to move you. The simple yet expressive melodies invite you to slow down and reflect. We are also thrilled to include works by Mozart, John Williams and Mendelssohn which we are certain you will enjoy.
If you need a night to breathe, reflect, and let the music feed your soul-this is a concert you will not want to miss!

We are so excited to open our 2025-26 season with a Masterworks Concert that brings together three monumental works from the symphonic repertoire!

Get ready to be “swept away” by the fanfares, sparkling charm, and soaring melodies of Leonard Bernstein’s Candide Overture.

Then, enjoy the soul-stirring grandeur of Aram Khachaturian’s Spartacus Suite No. 2, which contains one of the most famous and passionate romantic melodies of all time, the Adagio of Spartacus and Phrygia. This musical masterpiece portrays the heroic and tragic struggle of Roman gladiators for their freedom.

To finish the concert, we are delighted to present one of Beethoven’s self-declared favorites, Symphony No. 7. This symphony is pure joy with its boisterous and rustic melodies. It hints again at the plight of the common man, combining the energy of peasant-like dances with some of the most heroic themes (cue the French Horns!) ever composed.

This concert promises to lift your soul and build our community through a spectacular celebration of rhythm, emotion, and musical genius. We would love to see you there! See details in the attached flyer.
