Whistle Stop FILM Series ... chugging to a town near you The Whistle Stop F.I.L.M. Why? Where?

Series(Filmmaker Interactive Local Meetups) screens independent movies, that may be of local interest, of interest to a particular group of people within a community, or just for entertainment. Local organizers are asked to write a short narrative explaining the audience, the venue, and a very basic outreach plan which can include word of mouth, email and phone trees, traditional media like newspa

pers and radio, and social media such as facebook. Series is a means to integrate and converge the arts into communities and venues where movies aren't normally shown and to provide new audiences for independent movies. Local organizers can screen the program in any location— a private home on a computer or television, a church basement, the local library, or the back room of a restaurant.

A Twinkle at the End - A lifetime of healthcare misadventures, told backwards. Read it now, before I rewind completely.

Most memoirs start with childhood and end with death. Mine does the opposite: I begin as an old guy on the verge of a kitchen mishap, work my way backward through Medicare mix-ups, acupuncture torture, and raisin-based arthritis remedies, until I fade out as a zygote. Think about cradle-to-grave coverage in reverse.
