A BIG thank you for all the love and support this season at the Vail Farmers Market!

What a summer! I went into this season not knowing quite what to expect, and I’m walking away with so much more than I could have imagined. From the people who stopped to chat and ask about my process, to those who took a piece of my artwork home, to the familiar faces who came back week after week, you all made this season something truly special.

Getting to share something I love so much with all of you has been an absolute joy. I’ve made wonderful friends, met incredible people, and created memories I’ll carry with me for years.

Thank you for making space for my art in your lives. It means the world to me.

A little reminder that beautiful things take time.

And sometimes a ridiculous amount of it.

There’s something I love about the simplicity of needlepoint. Just a needle, thread, canvas, and an idea that may or may not turn into what I imagined.

The ideas come faster than I can stitch, but I think that’s part of the magic. There’s always something new waiting to be made, and I’m never quite sure where it’s going to take me.

Here’s to making things simply because we love making them.

I’m an artist, but I’m also… a lot of things.

And maybe that’s why the work never really ends.

Every part of my life finds its way into what I create somehow—the places I’ve been, the things I love, the people I’ve met, the mountains, the horses, the quiet moments, the chaotic ones, and all the ideas constantly bouncing around in my head.

Being an artist is a huge part of who I am, but all those other little pieces of me are what make the art mine.

So yes, Vail Farmers Market season may officially be over…but apparently I’m nowhere near done creating.

Last Vail Farmers Market tomorrow.

What a season it has been. I’m so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to show up each weekend, share my work with you, and spend my Sundays doing something that has brought me so much joy.

I’ve met so many wonderful people, made friendships I know will last far beyond this season, and connected with so many of you who stopped to look, ask questions, share a story, take a piece home, or simply tell me you’ve been following along.

I really can’t say thank you enough. 🫶

So, one last Sunday in Vail! Come say hi, see the work, and help me celebrate the end of a season I’ll never forget.

I’m sure your ready for this. I’m not even sure I’m ready for this! I’ve been dreaming this for years, no joke, years.

It’s process thinking about new ways to incorporate things into the fiber arts. I once used beaded chain with a different type of work, but always wanted to drape and playing with it again.

Here is it! I’m still trying to decide if I want to finish a complete collection this winter or test it out at the Vail Farmers Market. What did you think? 🤔
