As a DJ, Dance as Medicine facilitator, and Somatic Experiencing™ practitioner, Ashtara Kukuk aka GÖLDNWAV unlocks presence, liberation, and the dancer within us all. GÖLDNWAV’s sound lives at the intersection of upbeat bouncy bass, deep soulful texture, and percussive variety. It’s dance music that invites both movement and feeling. What emerges is more than a set. It is a shared state, a space where people are not just dancing, but moving through something together.

🌞 This Sunday, B.E.D. co-founder Bloomurian is DJing at the Avalon with dance lab from Leah Zia! Do we want the DJ in the middle of the dance floor again for this one? Let us know! 🪩

★ Producer/DJ: Bloomurian
Bloomurian is the electronic music & DJ project of Robin Liepman (Bloom), originally from California, & now Colorado based. Bloomurian’s style ranges from Ecstatic Dance, Folktronica, World & Psychedelic Bass, to Organic House, DnB, & beyond, fusing face-melting, heart-opening, soul-awakening multidimensional frequencies.

Bloomurian DJs festivals, ecstatic dances, concerts, & retreats worldwide, weaving original tracks, collaborations, remixes, & tasteful selections, into a rich tapestry of sonic alchemy, always tuning in to the coherent vibe for each particular event & audience.

He often plays electric guitar, flute & his signature shovel slide-guitar during his sets, & often has live instrumentalists (violin, sax, drums etc.) & vocalists join him on stage.
Bloomurian reads the energy of the moment & steers the spaceship in the direction most conducive to ecstatic states of awakening & embodied movement medicine.

The vibe can get down dark & dirty, light vibrant & uplifting, psychedelic, transformational, & worldly, depending on the frequency of the moment.

Leah is a movement artist and teacher who is passionate about accessibility, creativity, and community. She holds an M.F.A. in Dance and Performance from the University of Colorado, Boulder where she received her secondary emphasis in Somatics for her studies in the Alexander Technique, the Feldenkrais method, and BodyMind Centering.

🪕🔊 This Sunday Boulder Ecstatic Dance will be, for the FIRST TIME EVER, at the Boulder Circus Center! Our musical maestro of the evening will be the one and only of & and in place of dance lab, will be leading an intro to circus & acro workshop! 🤸🏻‍♀️

🧑‍🧑‍🧒 We’re making this one an all ages encouraged family friendly dance so bring your kiddos if you have ‘em, or just bring your inner child if ya don’t. We’ll have some squish set up so you can roll around.

★ DJ/Producer = David Satori

David Satori is a musical adventurer. Born in Burlington VT, David was inspired by the rich local music scene and started playing guitar and drums at the age of 13. David produced his first original album with his band Bubble Tribe in 1997 as a senior in high school and went on to study music at CalArts in Los Angeles, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Composition and Performance in 2001.

David Satori feels strongly that music is a healing medicine, that those who wish to become more musical should do so and that by doing so they will spread the healing vibrations. David encourageseach of us to travel courageously and curiously into our passions and to spread the love of music wherever and whenever we can.

🪩🕺🏻 This Sunday, 5/10, Boulder Ecstatic Dance is at the Avalon with music from Luke Rain and a special dance lab from Cassidy Bristol called Consentuition (read below for details!)

★ Producer/DJ: Luke Rain

Luke Rain drops cool, refreshing tunes and brings the drip like a hip hop hippie. In both his DJ sets and his production Luke is able to bend and blend genres across the musical spectrum, flowing effortlessly between electronic and organic, left field and pop appeal. He finds himself equally at home at a transformational festival, forest campout or ecstatic dance.

He is deeply inspired by the ecstatic dance community and crafts songs that will keep dance floors moving, at any energy level.

★ Dance Lab Facilitator: Cassidy Bristol

Cassidy Bristol creates spaces to access intuitive movement using yoga, dance, humor, and somatic listening. She encourages consent culture, flow state, and authentic movement as medicine.

Consentuition - A Body Wisdom Workshop

This workshop combines yoga, music, and free form dancing to cultivate authentic movement, creating the ability to respond consciously to our own intuition and those around us. Locate what a YES feels like by building consent from the inside out.

We begin with breath and somatic body scanning followed by a flowing, accessible sequence that blends easily into dance.This music-led journey is designed to provide movement tools on the dance floor while tapping into your intuition. True consent always starts with the self. Practice response-ability with us as we celebrate each sacred yes and sacred no that comes up through this medicinal practice.

All experiences and bodies are welcome.

🪩 This Sunday’s Boulder Ecstatic Dance is with multi-instrumentalist Flint Blade and dance lab with Leah Zia at the Avalon Ballroom!

★ DJ/Musician: Flint Blade

Flint Blade creates uplifting “Jambient” soundscapesSomatics for her studies in the Alexander Technique, the Feldenkrais — a rare & innovative guitar/bass hybrid instrument played by two-handed tapping.

Integrating live elements with electronic production, Flint is known for his live-looping journeys which he performs for festivals, ecstatic dance, flow jams and all kinds of spaces. Based in south Florida, Flint tours nationally while releasing music on High Vibe Records & In Love Records.

★ Dance Lab Facilitator: Leah Zia Woods

Leah is a movement artist and teacher who is passionate about accessibility, creativity, and community.
