Marie is a somatic sorceress, intuitive guide, and energy alchemist devoted to the magic of embodied wisdom.

For over 30 years, she’s explored the language of body through movement and sensation, dedicating herself to over 20 movement modalities, including strength, fitness, and mobility, dance, meditation, plant medicine, and a wide range of spiritual study.

Her practice weaves science, spirit, and the magic of sensation into a living path of vitality and resonance.

🌶️ About Spice Traders: Spice Traders facilitates and guides dancers through a myriad of sonic tapestries and transports the listener to experience the moment riding complex rhythms, organic instrumentation, ethereal vocals and sprinkled with the synth based world of Electronica. Drawing from his many projects, Spice Traders can create an arc of dynamic adventure and keep it almost all original.

💃🏻 About Maya Golan: Maya is a Dance Movement therapist, and has studied and taught yoga, theater, circus arts and contact improv in Israel (where she’s from) and Boulder. Maya is also a senior student and collaborator at Ape Co, teaching partnering and contact improv workshops and classes. Movement is one of her greatest passions and resources, and she holds a grounding, playful space to explore together.

🌿🔊 This Sunday Boulder Ecstatic Dance will be at the Avalon Ballroom with music from Rabellion and Cacao (in place of Dance Lab) with Ramzy Abueita (Myco Café) and Rabellion!

Make sure to arrive by 6:30 for complimentary cacao & opening, otherwise cacao will be available for purchase (until it runs out) after opening circle!

★ DJ: Rabellion

Tati AKA Rabellion creates medicine music for the dance floor. Mixing Latin-infused organic elements with electronic productions, she combines her skills as producer, singer, songwriter & sound healer, to help lift our spirits and heal our hearts. Her latest releases can be found within Mose’s label Resueño and High Vibe Records.

Originally from Puerto Rico and currently based in Santa Cruz, she has been booked to play her music in 4 continents, 11 countries and over 50 cities worldwide, including: Tulum, Goa, Hawaii, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, and many more - sharing the stage with lead artists in the organic electronic scene such as Mose, J.Pool & other influential voices.

In addition to having a Masters in Music from Berklee, she has 7 EPs under various music projects and multiple singles released within Resueño compilations. In her live sets, Tati / Rabellion combines her experience as an energy healer with her voice and original productions throughout her DJ set, to offer us a unique musical healing journey.

A deep voyage integrating bass beats, Latin grooves, electronic medicine music and several genres across the globe, to help us feel into all the different sides of our being, and dance our way through any stuck energies or emotions.

★ Dance Lab Facilitator - Niki Caro Niki Caro

Niki will be guiding you through Somatic Conversations - a guided exploration of how we converse with the language of the body and others through authentic movement and contact dance. We’ll start by reconnecting with our own authenticity, exploring self and movement through the 5 elements. From there, we’ll explore how we can communicate with others through movement, diving into playful and connective partner exercises to build trust and relatability.

Niki is an Embodiment Mentor who combines her passion for dance, background in psychology and training in Somatic Breathwork, Movement and trauma-informed healing to create transformative experiences. She is passionate about providing safe, inclusive spaces where participants can reconnect with their bodies, release stored emotions, and embrace their authentic selves. Drawing from her lifelong dance practice and various styles, including contemporary, jazz, hip hop, contact improv, yoga, and acrobatics, Niki empowers individuals to move beyond their thinking minds and tap into their body’s innate wisdom.

To celebrate the heart-opening, ecstatic embodiment of the solar power of Lion’s Gate and the astrological alignment of Boulder latitude with the sacred star Sirius, Kimba’s DJ set includes visionary ethnic, psybient, dubstep, psychedelic, and downtempo artists.

Bring your visions for your personal evolution and transformation—and for our community and our world— as we send out this sacred moving prayer to all of our relations.
She will be opening our sacred sound journey with a prayerful Ho’o’ponopono opening and Native American flute, and closing our journey together with the waterphone, and quartz crystal didjeridu with crystal bowl, as well as infusing live acoustic instrumentation throughout the DJ set.

Kimba is a classically-trained musician in piano and flute from early childhood, who has been doing music therapy, teaching, and music production (13 albums) for over 30 years, her sound as medicine journey initiated by a near-death experience 1992. Her many musical tools include 4 chamber flute, Native American flutes, the waterphone, and numerous other harmonic/overtone focussed instruments intended for inner sacred sound journeys... her main instrument being the quartz crystal didjeridu that she designed.

★ Dance Lab: Alex Milewski

Alex Milewski is a movement facilitator, dancer and the founder of Experiments in Rhythm: a style-agnostic approach to teaching designed to offer students and facilitators a fun and nourishing path to dance. With 25 years immersed in various forms of movement, Alex’s journey encompasses a rich tapestry of experiences as a student in dance, martial arts, circus, parkour, and athletics, as well as a global breakdancing competitor, studio owner, and performer.
