✨ One of the biggest things I wish more artists would take a chance on:

You do not need to wait until you’re “successful” to start creating income from your creativity.

So many artists are incredibly talented, but they’re stuck believing they need:
* a huge following
* gallery representation
* viral content
* or permission from the art world first

Teaching paint parties showed me another path.

A path where:
🎨 creativity becomes connection
🎨 art becomes an experience
🎨 income comes from sharing your skills
🎨 and your creativity can support your real life

That’s exactly why I created my Paint Party Jumpstart Course.❤️

I wanted to create a realistic, encouraging resource for artists who are ready to:
✨ start teaching
✨ book clients
✨ build confidence
✨ create recurring income
✨ and learn how to turn their creativity into a real business

Inside the course, I break down:
🎨 how to get started
🎨 how to price your events
🎨 how to find bookings
🎨 what to expect as a beginner
🎨 and how to grow sustainably over time

You don’t have to abandon your dreams as an artist to create stability.

Sometimes stability is actually what gives your creativity room to grow.

✨ A lot of artists delay starting paint parties because they think they need to feel “fully ready” first.

But honestly?
Most confidence comes from DOING — not from waiting. 🚀

Your first paint party does not need to be perfect.

People are usually looking for:
🎨 a fun experience
🎨 creativity
🎨 connection
🎨 a welcoming atmosphere

Not perfection.

You can start small, learn as you go, and improve with every event.

That’s one of the reasons I created my Paint Party Jumpstart Course — to help artists start with more clarity and confidence. ✨

If you’ve been wanting to teach paint parties, this is your reminder that you don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. 💪

🎨 One of the biggest misconceptions about teaching paint parties is thinking you need a huge portfolio to get started.

Honestly?
You can start with just ONE sample painting. 🖼️

One painting can become:
✨ your class example
✨ your promotional image
✨ your first event theme
✨ your starting point

A lot of artists wait because they think they need:
* years of experience
* a huge following
* a perfect website
* everything figured out first

But paint parties can be much simpler to start than people realize.

That’s actually why I created my Paint Party Business Course — to help artists learn how to realistically start and grow their own paint party business step-by-step. 🎨

If you’ve been thinking about starting, this is your reminder that you may already have enough to begin. ✨

🎨 Why teaching paint parties can genuinely change your life as an artist…

A lot of artists think they need to “make it” through gallery sales alone, but honestly, teaching paint parties can become one of the most stable and empowering income streams for creatives.

Most paint parties follow an industry standard of around 10 guests per event. Depending on your pricing structure, just ONE event can quickly turn into a few hundred dollars for a couple hours of teaching, creativity, and connection. 🤍

And the beautiful part is:✨ you don’t need to wait for a gallery to choose you✨ you don’t need thousands of followers✨ you don’t need to become famous first

You’re creating:🎨 income🎨 community🎨 confidence🎨 teaching experience🎨 repeat clients🎨 creative freedom

Paint parties helped me realize that art can be both meaningful AND financially supportive at the same time.

That’s actually why I created my new course — to help artists learn how to start and grow their own paint party business in a grounded, realistic, and encouraging way. 🙏

Inside the course, I share:✨ how to get clients✨ pricing strategies✨ how to structure events✨ beginner mistakes to avoid✨ how to build confidence teaching✨ how to turn creativity into consistent income

If this path resonates with you (or someone you know), the course link is in bio ✨

A lot of people don’t realize this… 👀

You don’t need a studio, a huge following, or years of experience to start hosting your own paint parties 🎨

How much can you actually make from a paint party? 🎨💰

Short answer: $300–$1,000+ PROFIT per event.

Yes… per event.
It really comes down to two things:
👉 your ticket price👉 your group size

And once you understand how to structure those, the numbers can get interesting fast.
I break it all down in the full video on YouTube (or hit the link in bio).

And BIG news…

We just launched our FIRST EVER video course: Paint Party Jumpstart 🚀🎉

This is a complete step-by-step system to help you start your own paint & sip business from scratch.

Inside you get:🔥 7 modules🔥 41 video lessons🔥 Everything from setup → payments → marketing → booking events → running your first paint party → legal/taxes → and more

Basically… everything we wish we had when starting out.

If you’ve ever thought:“Could I actually turn this into a business?”

This is for you.

So when do you turn a profit when you’re just starting out? 🎨

When I first started teaching paint and sips over 10 years ago, I began making a profit after my 2nd event. After that 2nd event, I had made all of my startup money back, and I was able to pay some bills and begin putting money aside for more supplies. The goal is to live within your means in the beginning and do your best not to overspend on supplies. Trust the process. 🔥

How many events have you taught? Have you recouped your startup money yet? Feel free to leave a comment below.

What types of start up supplies do you need for your paint parties to get started? 🎨

The main startup supplies you need when you’re first starting out are your table top easels, aprons, brush sets (if you’re not using disposable brushes), your teaching easels, and also a water bucket and water pitcher. You may need to purchase drop cloths too if your client requests drop cloths. In the beginning, I would just buy enough supplies for 10 guests, and after you start profiting from events, you can reinvest that money to buy more supplies. 🔥

How big of a group size can you cater to with the startup supplies you have? Feel free to leave a comment below.

What type of event should you book for your first paint party? 🎨

I personally feel that the first paint party you book should be in front of your family or friends. There are a lot of hiccups and moving parts when it comes to hosting your first paint party (not just teaching, but logistics as well), so it’s better to make mistakes in front of loved ones, then in front of a corporation or a large group of strangers. 🔥
