It Just Feels Easy - Braden and Casey On Love After Farmer Wants a Wife
Braden Pridemore and Casey Riemer are continuing their relationship well beyond the Farmer Wants a Wife finale, saying their connection has stayed strong even with life pulling them in different directions.
The Illinois farmer and Tennessee based project manager chose each other on season 4 of the show, and what followed has been months of back and forth travel as they try to make real life work.
Braden says the reality of distance has not been as heavy as he once expected.
“I’ll be honest, I’m really happy,” he said. “I’ve never felt this comfortable with someone.”
Since filming ended, the pair say they have managed to see each other frequently, often not going more than two weeks apart.
He describes the rhythm as simple and unforced, with both making effort on both sides.
“There are moments I wish she was here or I was there,” he admitted, “but overall it’s just been really natural.”
Casey says the same ease has carried through their conversations and time together, especially as they adjusted to life outside the show environment.
One of the early hurdles was understanding what life after filming would actually look like, particularly around where she might eventually live.
Rather than avoiding it, she says they addressed it directly and early.
Braden’s response, she says, removed pressure from the situation entirely.
He made it clear there would be no rush and no expectations to uproot her life immediately.
That approach, both say, helped build trust quickly.
Since the show, they have also spent time getting to know each other’s families, with visits in both Illinois and Tennessee.
Those moments, they say, helped confirm that their connection was not just about the show experience, but about how their lives fit together outside of it.
They recently brought their families together for a beach trip, where they watched parts of the season and spent time together in a relaxed setting.
