Our vision at the Inner City Sanctuary is to create a hospitable environment for emerging and established artists, musicians, thinkers, performers and innovators. We will function as a collaborative social club and community center in order to provide private studio space, communal workspace, gallery/exhibition/venue space, a cafe and lounge area, as well as a retail/vending marketplace. There is
no forum that operates as a traditional coffeehouse meeting place and simultaneously provides creators with the opportunity to develop and showcase their own work while building a community. The Inner City Artist Sanctuary will do just that through the collaborative use of its spaces. Mission
The Inner City Sanctuary provides a private and curated environment for the development and pursuit of all creative endeavors in a non-academic setting. We will accomplish this through the management of multipurpose studio space and development of a collaborative work ethic.
