🎨 Opening Tomorrow: A Beautiful Mind

Join us tomorrow evening for the opening reception of A Beautiful Mind, a solo exhibition celebrating the vibrant and deeply expressive work of artist Dominic Killiany.

📅 Wednesday, October 7 | 6–8 PM
📍 ClipArt Gallery at Clippership Wharf
65 Lewis Street, East Boston
✨ Free & open to the public

Presented by ClipArt Gallery at Clippership Wharf in collaboration with Atlantic Works Gallery, A Beautiful Mind celebrates Dominic’s distinctive artistic voice and offers a closer look at the thoughtful process behind his bold abstract paintings.

A 28-year-old self-taught artist, Dominic uses color, repetition, pattern, texture, and abstraction to create a symbolic visual language entirely his own. His creative process begins with elaborate symmetrical sketches and numbered plans before evolving into vibrant acrylic paintings on canvas.

Dominic’s work has been recognized through exhibitions and opportunities including Landau Gallery at Belmont Hill School, Worcester Art Museum’s Open Door Gallery, a permanent installation at the Louis DePasquale Universal Design Playground in Cambridge, and recognition as a finalist in the VSA Emerging Young Artists Competition at The Kennedy Center.

A Beautiful Mind is curated by Kristen Freitas, member of Atlantic Works Gallery.

🖼️ On view October 7, 2026 – April 17, 2027
Gallery hours: Saturdays, 12–4 PM

We hope you’ll join us tomorrow night to meet Dominic, experience his work, and celebrate this special exhibition!

Atlantic Works Gallery is excited to present DOODAH!, an exhibition by Rick Dorff and Walter Kopec, on view October 2–24, 2026.

DOODAH!
Make of it what you will. 🤔

Kinda, sorta, a nonsense word. An unnamed gadget. A state of excitement. Maybe even a little trouble.

Through drawing, painting, sculpture, found objects, and constructed forms, Dorff and Kopec explore ideas of meaning, transformation, play, and the strange complexities of the everyday.
