Have you ever noticed the trees in Salem, MA? So many twisted trees! There is something in the earth there and the undeniable magical witchy powers in the air because I've never seen so many trees like this scattered throughout one town. In a way, they're very reminiscent of the things that took place in Salem's history.
I named this Tree the “Lightning Tree” which can be found in the Old Burying Point in Salem which is also second oldest graveyard in the Country.

Black Onyx with Sheer Obsidian & Citrine. Tree is made with Garnet & Citrine. I had to pick this sunflower to give it a few more days of life. They have grown to over 10ft and this beauty has been the only one to bloom for now, I pray this is true! It was so top heavy it fell over! Girl, I feel ya

To walk in a redwood forest is to enter nature's cathedral. I’ve read there’s a mist that comes off of the trees and falls on everything below. It’s so subtle that you may not see it if you’re inside of it. But if you stand in it long enough, its quiet but venomous quality will slow your systems down. Everything is so peaceful. There are hardly any insects or birds flying around and there are hardly any other plants nearby. It’s as if the redwoods are the sole inhabitants of the forest and that makes the forest all the more intriguing. The redwoods are earthy and majestic, like gentle giants. They creek and sway when the wind blows through their leaves and branches hundreds of feet above the ground. They’re a quiet yet powerful presence, so it doesn’t surprise me that stories exist about the impact they create for people who come to see them.

The branches are Unakite, a grounding stone and just like the fairy rings a redwood grows after being cut down and then a new generation of trees sprout, Unakite is known to restore balance to the physical and emotional parts of our beings, bringing balance to our emotions and our spiritual bodies.
