Haven't posted in a while...since I finished Elden Ring I've gone back to finish the DLC from Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Most of the challenges are quite fun and varied, with this particular section being a highlight for stealth gameplay.

Always fine to scout the area, tag enemies, and methodically take them out one at a time...or three at a time if have Molotov cocktails at your disposal!

That ending...unexpected, haha!

An awesome fight with a lot of spectacle. This is one of those fights where I regret summoning ashes because I feel it went too fast...right before the best part of the soundtrack, in fact!!

Nevertheless, a very enjoyable fight at the end of a looooong, long quest under the capital.

I think I'll enjoy this armor for a little while. Hollow's set is earned by completing the third contract in the Volcano Manor questline.

Looks badass to me!

One of my favorite enemies/bosses in Elden Ring. When I first encountered one of these (near the Be***al Sanctum in Caelid), it proceeded to squash me like a bug, so I thought "whoa, this is probably meant to be fought near the endgame, there's no way I can beat this guy!".

Going from that to killing these two in a single fight on my first try makes it feel like such an accomplishment. From Software really know how to make you feel like you've progressed and grown.

These guys are so badass as well, I love their sound design, and how powerful their weapons feel (specially that twin blade on the second guy!).

You meet Roderika early into the game, and if you exhaust her dialog (which you should do with EVERY NPC), she will move to the Roundtable Hold, where you will be able to continue her quest.

Make sure you see this story through, as she will be able to help you out a lot if you're struggling!

We’ve started this blog as a way of sharing our thoughts and experiences in the world of gaming. We’re both part of the generation that grew up blowing cartridges and carrying cheat codes in our wallets. Growing up hasn’t reduced our passion for gaming, but it certainly has reduced the time we have to dedicate to it.

This blog is aimed at gamers like us, who now have the money to buy the games we want, but don’t always have the time to play them. We actually both have a backlog of 50+ games each, worth easily over 1,000 hours of play (yikes!). Our posts will focus on analyzing games we are currently playing, reviewing recent releases, discussing general interest topics in gaming, covering gaming-related events, and also listening what others have to say about the entertainment industry.

Edu currently lives in Boston with his loving wife and wonderful dog. He’s been gaming since he first got his SNES + DKC bundle as a kid. He now works in management consulting, which means spending a lot of time on the road, so most of his gaming is currently done on his Nintendo Switch.

David is based in New York and works in banking. He currently focuses on kicking ass on Overwatch, but he is also a huge fan of movies, TV series and reading.
