Introducing Solomon!

Solomon Bergquist is juggler, mime, and magician who can be regularly found performing on the streets of Chicago. Theatrically, they’ve previously and acted in productions including Pippin, Cabaret, Man of La Mancha, Julius Caesar, Much Ado About Nothing, and Hamlet. In their spare time, Solomon is currently getting their Masters at the University of Chicago, where they study Yiddish Folktales. More than anything else, they love storytelling, and are so excited to be a part of this show!!

Meet Viktor!

Feygel Viktor Leyn (they/them) earned their BA in French literature from Moscow State University, with a focus on late-20th-century drama. They hold a PhD in Linguistics from UCSD, where they joined the Yiddish theater and played Elektri (Electricity) in “Kraft” (Power) by Leah Hoffman. In Chicago, they recently joined the cast of “The Crib,” directed by Catherine Rouvinov-Katz. They are excited to be part of “Stories” and can’t wait to share its magic with you.

Luis Avila (he/him) is an emerging Mexican-American actor from Justice, Illinois. He is a graduate of DePaul University, where he earned a B.A. in Communication with a focus on Theatre and Film. His work includes the theatre play with Wade Productions called; On My Terms, as well as recent commercial appearances for Magnum Insurance and Centier Bank, and he can’t wait for you to see “Stories!”

Here’s our first cast spotlight for Stories in Chicago - link in bio for tickets!! 🔦🎟️

Tamar Brooks is a Wisconsin original who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from UW-Green Bay and joined the Chicago creative scene shortly thereafter as an actor, playwright, and poet. A company member of Loud Voices, Silent Streets and represented by Talent Group, Inc., Ms. Brooks most recently appeared as Randolph in Halsted Street at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
