We are pleased to announce our next production: Le Porteur d’Histoire by Alexis Michalik, running from November 13-15, 2026, at the Calderwood Pavilion.

Written by one of contemporary French theater’s most celebrated playwrights, the play follows a sweeping mystery that begins with a hidden notebook in the Ardennes and leads to a disappearance in the Algerian desert. It is a beautifully constructed story centered on a centuries-old secret society and a legendary treasure.

Hailed by Le Canard Enchaîné as “brilliant, breathless, a tour de force,” this production offers a captivating evening of storytelling for both French speakers and general theater lovers.

Looking for more contemporary French theater? It is closer to home than you might think! Skip the flight to France, Montreal is just a short drive from Boston.

The OFF Avignon Festival is an independent, open-access performing arts festival held alongside the official Avignon Festival, featuring thousands of theater, dance, music, and comedy performances across hundreds of venues each July. It is also where we scout future performances to bring to Boston!

What a night! It was such a pleasure to see our friends at perform “La Tête des Autres.”

Written by Marcel Aymé, this sharp satire follows a justice system undone by ambition, vanity, and a series of misunderstandings. Cleverly staged and full of wit, the play remains as relevant today as when it was first written.

Three performances remain, presented entirely in French!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Les Impayables for a fantastic performance and thank you for bringing French-language theater to the Greater Boston community ❤️🎭
