The Boch Center is one of the nation’s foremost nonprofit performing arts institutions.

As guardian of historic venues—the Wang and Shubert Theatres—the Boch Center honors all aspects of the performing arts. Through numerous community outreach educational efforts, collaborations, and partnerships, the Boch Center strives to educate and inspire greater appreciation for creativity as an essential component to the fabric of our society. Its education/public programming initiatives present the City Spotlights Leadership Program and ArtWeek Boston. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Boston’s historic Theatre District, the Boch Center offers a diverse mix of educational workshops and community activities; collaborates with artists and local performing arts organizations; and, acts as a champion for the arts in the Greater Boston community by aggressively helping to make the arts an integral part of the community’s collective, daily experience.

Don't forget to register for this Wednesday's Final Showcase! This summer's 15 Teen Leaders will premier their original show "One Spark Starts a Fire: Advocating From Our Hearts." For the first time in a virtual settings, Teen Leaders will explore and share their experiences with advocating for social justice for all, emphasizing in the importance of intersectionality, how real actions lead to progress, and amplifying the voices of those who must be heard and seen. YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS IT!

Today's the day! Our first ever virtual worskhop at 1:30pm, and it's not too late to register!!

This workshop is open to other teens (ages 15 - 19) who are interested in exploring our theme, "One Spark starts a Fire: Advocating from our Hearts". We will be talking about advocating and what it means today in the middle of COVID-19, the Black Lives Matter movement, and how we can be involved, express ourselves, and still take care of ourselves. We will be sharing our conversations around advocacy, our own performance pieces inspired by this topic, and hearing your experiences and stories.
