I've been working with clay ever since and my work can be found in cupboards, dishracks, and ovens throughout the city. I work out of a co-op studio in Brookline and sell my ware at 450 Harrison Avenue on the First Friday of each month, in local craft fairs, and in my kitchen when friends come over for dinner. I specialize in handthrown pottery for everyday use, constructing traditional forms usin
g bright colors and a personalized style. When I throw, I feel connected to the generations of potters who have come before me and who have used their hands to add beauty to objects of daily use. I believe my ceramics are best enjoyed when serving a yummy meal to good friends and family.
*Teaching*
My love of throwing pots is matched only by my love of teaching others how to make ceramics. I have many years of experience teaching youth and adults how to knit and throw pots, both in a classroom and in private lessons.
