Thankful for this opportunity to exhibit work somewhere I have never been. The venue is rich with history and the theme of is very meaningful especially with the circumstances we are experiencing currently.

It is truly an honor!

This , MAXCourage is thrilled to share with you the cover of our special 35th anniversary cover artwork created by Sherwin Long, a 2000 MAXFellow from Boston Renaissance Charter Public School. 🎨📚

Sherwin's story began with an award-winning MAXCourage essay about saving his brother from drowning. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and has become a celebrated artist and illustrator. Sherwin donated this original piece to MAXCourage in honor of the organization's 35th anniversary.

Titled Psithurism, its background features photographs of students who have been published in The Courage of Children over the past 35 years.

I’m excited to be apart of Comics n Color 2026. The event will be taking place at the Reggie Lewis center April 4, 10am-5pm! The day before you can Join us at 6pm on Friday 4/3 for the Opening Panel for Boston Comics in Color Festival 2026!
