Tastingnotespod

Tastingnotespod Tasting Notes is a podcast that celebrates beer and music, two things that go great together. Drink in the music. We love to have guests on the show!

Learn about beer, hear some great music, and have fun thinking about the intersection between delicious brews and amazing tunes. Each episode, hosts Reis Hansen, Adam Mackie, and Tony Porreca pair beer with contemporary and classic albums of all genres, meet up with brewers and other industry leaders to discuss the music that fuels their craft, and share the mics with anyone that has a beer or mus

ic-related story to tell. Whether you are a professional brewer or musician or just a passionate fan, if you have something to share, Tasting Notes would love to hear from you. Drop us a line at [email protected], or say hello on Twitter. Our intro was created by Chris Michaud. Check out Flip the Table, his podcast about cheesy, weird, and obscure board games, at www.tableflipsyou.com or on iTunes. Our outro was created by Kenney Vitro, a professional musician based in Denver. Our logo was created by Jordan Sgandurra, an artist living and working in Boston. Happy New Year, Everyone!

With so many options - cocktails, wine, Champagne - its hard to select that "it" drink to ring in the new year with. What about beer? Biere de Champagne with its sparkling, effervescence is an excellent choice - DeuS from Brouwerij Bosteels and Brouwerij De Landtsheer's, Malheur Brut Reserve are quite delicious. Maybe you want a touch of acidity and funk, but dont want to lose the spritzy carbonation - search out Gueuze. Master Blenders, Brouwerij Boon, Gueuzerie Tilquin and Brasserie Cantillon are always hits! Finally, if you are gluten-free, Eden Ice Cider with their Sparkling Dry and Semidry and Farnum Hill Ciders Extra Dry are sure to please. Whatever you drink on this celebratory night, be safe, be cheerful and definitely have Frank Sinatra on in the background.

Cheers and Happy New Year!
