I was holding my emotions in cuz I was so overwhelmed with feeling, energy,.. spirits surrounding me/watching me. The Gatekeeper gave me the Key.. and motioned for me to hand him my camera.. all unspoken. This is how this photo came to be.

Sang today, at a childhood friends, Father's funeral 🙏🏾🤎 Most songs I sing resonate with me on some level - " Let go & Let God" , they are reminders, words whispered. I get emotional sometimes when I rehearse and/or perform, I feel it. And so shall you.
Can I testify tho?!..
2022/23 weren't easy years for me. I went thru it,...quietly persevering, graceful, focused and determined: And this too shall pass. I overs the ebb & the flow, the stop and the go. We rise and we fall and we rise again! Flowing.. and growing & knowing who you are. I absolutely refused to fail.. to fall- I may stumble but I ain't hittin the floor! Turn it into a dance Shhiiiit! That's flow.
Tides have turned. Curds smoothed to milk. Moth to silk. God is good! .. All the time. Haile Yah. Dua. Divine.
Downloading and feeling a lot over these past weeks. Change. Beauty. Freedom. Truth. Abundance. Clarity. Changing. Expanding and birthing. Seeing. Readying. Knowing. Growing. Peace be still.

Got a call yest to sing at an MLK commemeration in Cambridge next week,.. then saw the email for the Empowerment Award. Look at God!
